With record-setting numbers of travelers during the 4th of July holiday, AAA is warning travelers to make sure their vehicles are prepared.

Between June 29 and July 7, AAA expects to rescue around 800,000 stranded motorists with problems including dead batteries, flat tires and lockouts.
To prevent car problems, they say to check your battery and tires before setting out on a trip, and listen to and feel for issues with the breaks.
Make sure you have enough wiper fluid, and replace your wiper blades if needed.
Top off your engine oil and other fluids, and be sure to keep emergency supplies in your car. You can check out the AAA website for more helpful tips.
