Three people, including 9-year-old girl, injured in shooting at Pokagon State Park

Three people, two adults and one child, were injured in a shooting at Pokagon State Park on Saturday night.

Indiana Conservation Officers say that they got a call around 10:45 p.m. regarding shots fired near the toboggan run.

Police say that an fight broke out between two men that led to one shooting the other in the leg.

A nine-year-old girl who was near the fight apparently had a bullet fragment strike her and also had to be rushed to the hospital.

Later in the night a third victim was treated for injuries to the leg and arm.

The man struck in the leg was in critical condition.

The shooting remains under investigation.
