A man was killed when a train struck a car Wednesday evening in Stevensville.

Lincoln Township Police say it happened around 5:30 pm in the 5300 block of St. Joseph Ave.

The car was hit by the train while pulling out of a driveway, according to their report. The driver, a 28 year-old man whose name has been withheld, was ejected from the car and died of his injuries at the hospital.
