The Indiana Fever dropped the first game of their opening-round playoff series with the Connecticut Sun on Sunday.

Though the final score was 93-to-69, the game was much closer than the score indicated. Indiana was outscored 25-to-12 in the 4th quarter, the Sun pulling way off a 27-point performance from Marina Mabrey off the bench.

Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 21 points. Caitlin Clark had 11 points going 2-of-13 from behind the arc.

The Fever will look to even up the best-of-three series on Wednesday in Game 2.
