State Police warn Indiana Toll Road scams still hitting residents

Indiana State Police say some scammers are now pretending to represent the Indiana Toll Road in order to take your money.
With this current scam, you may get a text message claiming to be from the Toll Road, explaining that you owe money for “an outstanding toll charge,” and you could incur late fees if you wait to pay.
Officers say these messages are not legitimate, as the Toll Road would not send texts requesting payment.  So, if you see one of these messages, you are urged to ignore it and/or delete it immediately.
