Early voting for the 2024 general election starts in just one week, and officials are expecting a large turnout in Indiana.

With many polls showing a close presidential race, Hoosiers have shown strong interest in participating this year. Voters have one week to register for the November primary election, and many have registered online or in person.

The Secretary of State reports that 90% of eligible residents are registered, including hundreds of thousands of young people who will be voting for the first time.
