Firefighters responded to a fire at Saint Joseph Health System’s Family Medicine Center in Mishawaka.

The call came in around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, for the facility AT the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Upon arrival, crews found a small fire in the ceiling. It was confined to the clinic area and did not affect the patient portion of the hospital.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and staff did not have to move any patients from the hospital.
