La Niña is set to return for winter which has some big implications on Indiana’s outlook for December to February.
NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center has released its 2024-25 winter outlook for the United States.
This means it may be a particularly wet or snowy winter depending on temperatures.
Meteorologists say La Niña typically brings more moisture to the Midwest during the winter time due to the two major jet streams coming close together.
Temperatures are also likely to be slightly above average this winter as well.
