Trial set for one of five people accused of armed robbery

One of five people accused of an armed robbery in September had his pretrial conference last week

The robbery happened on Middlebury Street in Elkhart.

Court documents state two victims reported the robbery to police after being approached in their vehicle by two masked men displaying guns.

One suspect allegedly threatened the driver with a knife and pistol, while another took the passenger’s wallet. Five suspects were arrested.

The Goshen News reports Kaleb Goodwin was one of those suspects who was arrested on armed robbery charges. He’s currently at the Logansport Juvenile Facility with his jury trial scheduled for March 3.
