Man found dead in Starke County during welfare check

Police are investigating the death of a man found during a welfare check in Starke County.

Officers responded to a home on Donna Street in North Judson on Friday evening after the man hadn’t been heard from since December 3rd. Upon arrival, they smelled natural gas.

After ensuring it was safe to enter, officers found the man, who was pronounced dead.

Police haven’t released his identity and are investigating the circumstances of his death.
