Parents in Michigan are being encouraged too enroll their 4 year-olds in the state’s free Pre-K program.

It’s from the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement and Potential, or MILeap. The program aims to equip children with the tools that will give them greater success in kindergarten.

WSJM reports that there are 39 pre-K classrooms with 680 students currently enrolled in Berrien County alone. Families still have time to enroll their four year-olds in the no-cost pre-K class for this school year. Enrollment for the next school year begins in February.

You can learn more at BerrienRESA.org.
