Applications are officially open for the 2025 Spring Citizens Police Academy.

The academy will be held on Tuesday evenings from March 4 through May 8. It’s a free course happening each week, excluding April 8, from 6 until 9 p.m.

Participants can participate in hands-on, interactive lessons from different units of the South Bend Police Department, including Patrol, SWAT team, Crime Scene Technicians, Bomb Squad, K9 Unit, Communications and more.
