Firefighters battle large barn fire in Nappanee

Fire crews battled a large barn fire near the Elkhart-Kosciusko County line in Nappanee.

The fire broke out around 4 a.m. at a farm on North 950 West near US-6.

Crews safely removed all animals from the barn, but authorities have not confirmed if anyone was hurt or determined the fire’s cause.

Drivers in the area should expect traffic disruptions while crews work to contain the blaze.
