Indiana lawmakers are weighing two bills that would ban marijuana ads in the state for businesses in Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio that have legalized recreational marijuana and Kentucky, where medicinal cannabis is legal.
One of the bills makes promoting marijuana products illegal in the Hoosier state, while the other enforces strict restrictions.
A bud tender in southern Michigan says they don’t think Indiana’s advertising ban would have much of an impact on their sales.

It’s High time for Indiana to get on board with common sense. The revenue from courts is nothing compared to sales. The benefits out weigh the drawbacks.
I see what you did there Russell. 🙂
It’s about time!
I had thought they were considering enabling medical marijuana in Indiana. From this article it appears the only marijuana discussion was just blocking other states from advertising within our borders.
Put it on the ballot and see just how many Hoosiers want this. Why should we miss out on the alternative to pain management instead of opioids? Do better Indiana.
How about banning adverts for ALL drugs on all media…and doctors…and lawyers. That would make any TV experience much more palatable and eliminate the continuous drive to take more drugs, sue you neighbors and random strangers, etc.
