Illinois Governor rejects bill proposed by Indiana Republicans

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat, rejected a bill proposed by Indiana Republicans that would explore the possibility of Illinois counties seceding and joining Indiana, calling it “a stunt” that “isn’t going to happen.”
The bill, introduced Tuesday by House Speaker Todd Huston, proposes creating the Indiana-Illinois Boundary Adjustment Commission to explore the possibility of Illinois counties joining Indiana. House Bill 1008 is a key priority for House Republicans.
“It’s a stunt. It’s not going to happen,” Pritzker said. “I’ll just say Indiana is a low-wage state that doesn’t protect workers, a state that does not provide health care for people when they’re in need, and so I don’t think it’s attractive for anybody in Illinois where wages are higher, where the standard of living is higher, and we do provide health care for people in need.”
The proposal follows the November elections, where several rural counties in southern and central Illinois voted to explore secession.

Dogs bark, snakes slither and liberals lie. It is in their nature and you should not expect anything else from them. If their pie hole is open they are lying. IL is a sh** hole that sucks the money out of everyone not in Chicago and Chitcongo is a shi** hole thanks to leftist “leadership”. IL provides none of the benefits labeled by this leftist looser. Is it any wonder everyone else in the state wants to leave?
