The Justice Department is suing Walgreens, accusing the pharmacy giant of dispensing millions of unlawful prescriptions.
The D.O.J. says Walgreens contributed to the nation’s opioid epidemic by filling illegal prescriptions for addictive painkillers and other drugs.
The suit alleges the company knowingly filled those prescriptions from 2012 until the present, saying they lacked a legitimate medical purpose or were not valid.
Walgreens responded by saying it will not stand by and allow the government to put its pharmacists in a no-win situation, trying to comply with “rules” that simply do not exist.

I have an idea, Lets blame Walgreens for the opioid pandemic because we left the door open at our southern border. Yeah, that’s the ticket…………

I has been decades since I actually took a paper prescription to the pharmacy. It is done by fax or phone call from the doctor’s office. Why would Walgreens or any other pharmacy question a prescription? This is a CYA action to cover Biden’s dead carcass.

Enough!
