Indiana schools not in favor of immigration officers’ ability to arrest at schools

President Trump recently determined that immigration officers can arrest people at places like churches and schools. Some Hoosier school districts are not in favor of this.
Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) says it is “committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all students and families, regardless of immigration status.” So, it has put together a list of resources for “undocumented” Hoosiers.
The district has determined that it will not allow ICE officers into schools without warrants, and will make sure officers are fully following the law. It also will “not ask about or disclose immigration status.”
Learn more about available resources here.
Fort Wayne Community Schools are among others telling parents they will not share anyone’s immigration status with authorities. They want students and families to “feel safe and welcome at school.”

8 US Code.. Big penalties for harboring illegals. There is no exemption for schools and there is a state law demanding inferior governments cooperate with USBP and ICE.

SJ County Sheriff is finding out the hard way rather than the easy way. Sue a couple of school districts and this foolishness WILL STOP.

Every illegal in our public schools means a citizen gets short changed in their education.

Too bad!!!!!! Those children are here illegally. If their parents weren’t guilty of nefarious deeds, then the children would not be subject to this. And we are talking about schools who are promoting boys becoming girls…girls becoming boys “including” taking hormones and chopping off ones breasts or penis…..ruining young girls AND boys lives. So your opinions don’t have a whole lot of credence on this matter.

Since those school districts have enough resources to handle students who shouldn’t be there in the first place, I guess it would be safe to cut their funding from the State and let them foot the bill solo. Clearly they have more than enough money!

Cut their funding to ZERO and this idiocy will stop.

When you go for the illegals arrest the administrators too. If you are sheltering criminals you are a criminal too.
