A portion of Jefferson Boulevard is scheduled for a closure between South Lafayette Boulevard and South Main Street on Saturday March 8, 2025.

The portion of Jefferson runs along the south side of the County-City Building. Both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be restricted on West Jefferson Blvd.

The temporary road closure will allow crews to transport, by crane, the second new boiler unit for the County-City Building Complex onto the 5th floor roof.

Due to the swing radius of the crane; no one will be allowed to occupy the South side of the Count City Builing from the 4th floor down during this time.

Citizens are asked to enter through the main entrance of the County-City Building, located off S. Lafayette Boulevard. The South side of the lobby will be blocked off.
