A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a Jeep on County Road 6 near Stryker Street, according to the Elkhart Police Department.

The crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, and involved a male motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of family.

The driver of the Jeep, a woman, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say she has been cooperative with investigators.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
