Driver, distracted by spider, injured in New Paris crash

A woman who became distracted by a spider in her vehicle was hospitalized  after crashing on County Road 21 near County Road 46 in New Paris.
The collision happened around 12:15 p.m. on Monday, June 2.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 12:15 p.m. when the 69-year-old New Paris woman was driving her Jeep Patriot.
The vehicle struck a mailbox atbefore crashing into a NIPSCO power pole. The driver suffered complained abdomin, back, and wrist pain and was taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment.

But was the spider ok?

The spider wasn’t hurting her. She did it herself. How did the spider do after the crash?
