Fight on boat leads to attempted murder arrest

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says a man was arrested for nearly killing his father on the water early Thursday.
Nicholas Frazier, 20, and his father were on a boat on Burns Ditch outside of Portage when they got into an argument. F
razier hit his father with a blunt object, which made them both fall into the water.
The father was taken to a hospital and later released after medical evaluation.
Frazier was taken to the Porter County Jail, facing preliminary charges of attempted murder, battery, and other charges.
