A longtime local eatery is preparing to close its doors after more than a decade of serving the community.

Fat Cam’s at Garver Lake will serve its final meal on August 7, 2025, exactly 13 years after its grand opening.

The owners made the announcement on social media.

In their heartfelt tribute, they thanked past and present staff members, calling them “some of the best people they’d ever worked with,” and expressed gratitude to their families for unwavering support.
