A three-vehicle crash early in Elkhart County sent one man to the hospital and left another driver facing multiple citations.
Deputies say a 17-year-old Elkhart boy turned his Chrysler into the path of a Hyundai Sonata at County Roads 17 and 40 just after 4 a.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 16.
The Hyundai struck the Chrysler head-on, then a Dodge Caravan hit the back of the Chrysler.
The Hyundai’s driver was hospitalized with neck and chest pain.
The teenager was cited for driving without a license, expired registration, no insurance, and failure to yield causing injury.
