Leaders in Elkhart County are working to help families understand mental health and suicide prevention

“Getting Real: Honest Conversations About Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention” is a free seminar for those ages 12 and older as well as caregivers to learn more about suicide risk and prevention.

They’ll have the opportunity to have honest discussions about mental health challenges.

It’s a safe space to discuss mental health and have conversations about how to help youth in the area and the challenges they may face. It’s happening on October 9 from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at Icy Tech’s Elkhart County Campus in Goshen.

It’s free and dinner is provided, but registration is required.
