New State Representative selected to serve District 9 in NWI

A new State Representative has been selected to serve District 9 in Northwest Indiana.
LaPorte County Councilman Randy Novak was unanimously elected by precinct committee members on Saturday in Michigan City.
Novak, an alumnus of the AFL-CIO’s Path to Power program and a former Michigan City Fire Chief, will serve the remainder of the term vacated by the retirement of former Representative Pat Boy.
Novak pledged to serve the residents of District 9 with integrity and dedication.
