A head-on collision on County Road 20 left two people injured.
The crash occurred just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, near the intersection of County ROasd 20 and 11th Street. Weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the incident.
According to the investigation, a 2010 BMW 328i was traveling east on CR 20 when it crossed left of center into the westbound lane. The BMW struck a westbound 2015 GMC Terrain head-on before both vehicles came to a stop.
Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage.
The driver of the BMW reported full-body pain and a broken wrist and was cited, with the specific offense pending further investigation and toxicology results. The driver of the GMC reported neck and chest pain. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
