A Michigan City man whose murder charge was dropped earlier this year is now facing charges again.

Police say 27-year-old Cevin Crawford was re-arrested after a judge found probable cause to charge him with aiding, inducing or causing murder in the August shooting outside Matey’s Bar that killed 25-year-old Dante Sellers of LaPorte.

Crawford’s original murder charge was dismissed without prejudice at the request of the LaPorte County Prosecutor, but investigators say new evidence led to the updated charge.

He’s being held on a one million dollar cash bond.

Another suspect, 35-year-old Daquvay Sherrod, was arrested earlier this month and is also being held on a one million dollar bond.
