Two men were killed in a head-on crash in LaPorte County.

The collision happened around 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at State Road 2 and County Road 500 East in Kankakee Township, when police a pickup driven by Matthew Turner, 42, of Florida was traveling the wrong way in the westbound lane and hit a car driven by Michael Munroe, 43, of Illinois. Both drivers died at the scene.

The Fatal Alcohol Crash Team and investigators responded, and toxicology results are still pending.
