Amazon will build one or more AI data centers in northern Indiana, creating more than 1,000 jobs.
The company plans to invest about $15 billion in a new campus for artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
Amazon will partner with NIPSCO to use existing powerlines and cover costs for any new equipment or power plants.
The company estimates the project could save Indiana residents roughly $1 billion over 15 years.
