A new bill at the Statehouse would remove South Bend voters’ control over their school board.
Senate Bill 248 would turn the South Bend Community School Corporation’s elected board into an advisory group with no governing power.
The bill would give the Indiana Secretary of Education authority to appoint seven members to run the district.
If the bill passes, the current elected board would shift to an advisory role starting July 1.

That way the people have no say so when educators poison minds of kids in OUR public schools. If any Republican votes for this, they need voted out.

On the surface, I agree with you. All school boards in the state should play by the same rules.

The problem is, the SBCSC is already pushing the woke mind virus on the kids but the voters in that area are “blue no matter who” so the kids are doomed to suffer under their control.

Moving control of the school board out of the hands of the local voters is the only way to save those kids.
