A former Penn High School color guard coach is facing a felony charge in St. Joseph County.
Breanna Schooley, 20, has been charged with Sexual Misconduct with a Minor following an investigation into an alleged relationship with a 15-year-old student earlier this year.
Court records show investigators were alerted in April and later uncovered communications between Schooley and the teen through social media. Penn-Harris-Madison officials say Schooley worked for the Penn Band Boosters during the 2024-25 school year but is no longer employed there.
Her first court appearance is scheduled for July 1.
