(Spencer Marsh/95.3 MNC)

A man was hospitalized after he was shot on the west side of South Bend just after 5 a.m. Friday, June 10.

The man was found with at least two gunshots near two orange barrels in the 800 block of S. Wellington Street, WSBT reported. It’s not clear how seriously he was injured.

Police believe the shooting was related to a disturbance at a home nearby.

Wellington Street was blocked from Sample Street to Belle Vista Street while police investigate the shooting.
