A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for shooting his uncle.

The shooting happened around 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, in the 17000 block of Kline Road in Milton Township, Cass County.

On arrival, authorities found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound that had grazed his cheek and gone into his neck, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend

The victim is the suspect’s uncle, according to ABC 57. The shooting is believed to have stemmed from a family fight.
