A Mishawaka man has been sentenced to more than 7 years in prison and 18 months more on supervised release…all for a weapons charges.
It was back in September of 2016 when prosecutors say 38-year-old Deandre Watson confronted a man he believed acted inappropriately toward his daughters.
Court documents say he went to the man’s apartment with his girls, hit the man with a 9 mm handgun, then locked him the truck of his own car.
The victim’s girlfriend called police and Watson was arrested, charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Watson has been convicted of three other felony offenses prior to that incident.

How dare a person try to get justice on his own!!! This is America. You let the police handle this. The will do the same thing they did with all the sexual assault kits. Nothing!
