Former Goshen Police Chief’s memorial badge found

A memorial police badge that had been stolen from the grave of former Goshen Police Chief Wade Branson has been located.

His daugther took to Facebook to explain that a family friend found the badge along the side of the road “a long distance away from his grave.”

The Goshen News reports that friend ended up taking the badge so nothing bad would happen to it, and now the badge has been returned to the gravesite.

Branson died last month at the age of 61 after a battle with cancer.
