A Buchanan man was arrested for OWI causing death in Berrien County.

The collision happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6.

Police say the 65 year-old man was driving a farm truck on Red Bud Trail near Howe Lane struck and killed a 36 year-old Benton Harbor woman who was crossing the road.

Their names have not been released. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash, according to Michigan State Police.
