Benton Harbor man arrested following Subway armed robbery

A Benton Harbor has been arrested following an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant.

Officers were called to the Subway on W. Main Street around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday on reports of the armed robbery, and the suspect was located very quickly.

The 21-year-old man was taken into custody. During the arrest, police also located a pistol at the scene along with money that had been taken from the register.

The Subway is still open, and operating normal business hours today.
