Sen. Bernie Sanders drops out of the 2020 Presidential race

Sen. Bernie Sanders ended his presidential campaign on Wednesday.

This clears a path to the Democratic nomination for former Vice President Joe Biden, and a showdown for Biden with incumbent President Donald J. Trump.

His campaign says Sanders made the announcement in a call with his campaign staff.
