Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced Tuesday that her husband Marc had tested positive for COVID.

In her message on social media she urged everyone to get fully vaccinated and boosted.

Whitmer herself received a negative test result Wednesday morning. She also praised the work of health officials around the state who continue to battle the virus in Michigan.
