Man, 19, killed in shooting at gas station at Western & Olive in South Bend

A 19-year-old man died after he was shot in South Bend.

Police were called around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, to the Marathon gas station at Western and Olive, on the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers rendered aid to the victim, Ricko Perez, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Perez was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit is handling the investigation and have interviewed several people.

It seems to be turning into all the other democrat run cities. Gary, Detroit, Baltimore, San Francisco, along with way to many more
