A warrant search in St. Joseph County led to the discovery of an alleged pipe bomb on Wednesday.

St. Joseph County Police say they were serving a search warrant on a man who was wanted on a felony warrant at a residence in the 52000 block of Hollyhock Road.

Two men were arrested on several charges after a suspected pipe bomb was found in the house, along with other bomb-making materials. Shortly after 5:30 p.m. the Indiana State Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team made the pipe bomb safe.

The police say there is no threat to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
