It might possibly be the most Indiana thing, ever.

The film “Rudy” is based on the true story of Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger, a story of a little guy with big dreams that are realized when he fights his way into the University of Notre Dame, and eventually takes the field for the Fighting Irish.

On September 16, the Indianapolis Symphony will perform the complete score live in concert while the film is projected on a massive 35-foot screen at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.

Ruettiger himself will be on hand to sign autographs after the film, and the director and screenplay writer of the movie will be in attendance.
