35-year-old John Brandon Cox pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury after being accused of shooting a woman in the head in Ox Bow Park in November of last year.

The unnamed victim stated that she and Cox had met for the first time after getting to know each other on Facebook but that they got into an argument while driving to Ox Bow Park, during which Cox put a handgun to her head and shot her.

Cox is facing an attempted murder charge and a robbery charge.
