Several people were hurt in a crash involving an ambulance and two school buses.

It happened at M-139 and East Empire Avenue when an ambulance had its lights and sirens on and a school bus pulled out in front of it, forcing the bus to crash into another school bus.

Paramedics suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and reports say several adults on the buses suffered minor injuries.
