A teen sentenced for an armed robbery is also in court for a rape when he was a minor.

Isaac Duckworth’s case was refiled from juvenile court into adult court in December of last year for an incident that happened in 2022 when Duckworth was just 15.

The victim claimed that she was at a party with Duckworth in Elkhart and that he was chugging a bottle of vodka.

When other partygoers left to pick up food, the victim and Duckworth stayed back. She stated that Duckworth began forcing himself on her despite her protests, and when the others got home, she was curled up in a ball crying and Duckworth was not talking to her.

The Goshen News says he is already serving 20 years for the armed robbery and will go to trial for the rape case on August 4.
