Man sentenced to 13 years for drug charges

A man has been sentenced to several years in prison for drug charges.

A search warrant was executed for Ariana Pittman due to an active warrant on State Street in Elkhart.

However, Larry Pittman was arrested instead. Larry reportedly also had an active warrant. However, when police returned, they found him in a vehicle.

The Goshen News says officers searched Larry and the vehicle, locating marijuana, cocaine, a handgun and pills.

He has pleaded guilty to cocaine possession as well as unlawful carrying of a handgun. He was sentenced to a total of 13 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections with seven years to be served on probation.
