More than 1,000 locations are offering free meals and snacks to Indiana students age 18 and younger this summer.
The 2025 Summer Food Service Program has provided children access to free, nutritious meals and snacks during the summer months for almost 50 years.
The program is funded by the USDA and is designed to meet the needs of low-income children in areas where access to good nutrition may be limited. Some meals will be offered on-site while others may be offered to-go.
Households can use the USDA’s Summer Meals Site Finder to access information about where meals will be served as well as what type of food will be offered.

More of my tax dollars going to pay people to not plan to support their families while owning multiple cars, cell phones and video services. I’m supposed to feel good about this?

End means-testing for government programs. If it is too expensive to provide to EVERY CITIZEN, it is too expensive to provide to anyone.
Means-testing is just the other die of the “progressive” tax rate coin.
