A 34-year-old man from Ashley, Indiana, was arrested for failing to register as a sex or violent offender.

Milton Wayne Hope II was located in Ashley and found to be living in violation of sex offender residency restrictions.

Hope also failed to possess an updated Indiana driver’s license or identification card as required for registered sex offenders.

He was booked into the Steuben County Jail on charges of Failure to Register as a Sex or Violent Offender, Registered Sex Offender Residency Restriction Violation, and Failure to Possess Indiana Driver’s License or ID Card. He remains in jail on a $3,000 bond.
