An Illinois man is facing multiple charges after a high-speed pursuit early Monday morning.

It happened in Lake County around 12:40 a.m. Indiana State Police say a trooper spotted two cars racing on I-80 near Burr Street. One driver, in a black Infiniti, refused to stop and reached speeds up to 150 miles per hour after turning off his headlights.

The chase ended when the car crashed at a roundabout off 109th Avenue. 21-year-old Brayan Guerrero was arrested after officers found he’d been recording the pursuit with a GoPro.

He faces several felony and misdemeanor charges, including resisting law enforcement and operating while intoxicated.
