Potawatomi Zoo open for Winter Days through March 15

The Potawatomi Zoo is open for Winter Days every Saturday and Sunday through March 15, 2026, from 11 am to 4 pm.
“We want give our visitors the chance to experience the Zoo in every season,” says Josh Sisk, executive director of the Potawatomi Zoo. “Winter is a great time to have fun at the Zoo and connect with many of our animals both outside and indoors.”
Winter Days are free for Potawatomi Zoo Members. Admission is discounted for non-members. Adults are $12 per person, and children are $10 per person.
Riding the Zoo train will be available, weather permitting. Tickets are $3 per person. Visitors will also be able to feed the giraffes inside the giraffe visitor center. Tickets are $3 for 2 pieces of lettuce.
Concessions in The Lodge will be open, and visitors can go inside to warm up, order food or drinks, and watch the bears. Drinks and snacks will be available at the Farmhouse Café near the red barn, weather permitting.
The Zoo Gift Shop will be open from 11 am to 4 pm.
The zoo opens for the season on Saturday, March 28.
